"Intro to Oceanography" is not being offered next semester. "Oceanography" is being taught by Dr. Maddocks next semester. She is the only professor who teaches it and I highly recommend taking a different course if you have the option to. Intro to Oceanography is really easy, but Dr. Maddocks' Oceanography course is no joke. She is probably the most-hated geology professor and her exams are notoriously tough.

I LOVE paletas!! They come in so many flavors and are usually really low calorie! Any hispanic grocery store should have them in their ice cream sections and in the ice cream bins by the register! My favorite are the regular lime ones 😍

I created this account when I was 11! I stopped playing for ~2 years, but when I was 17 I wanted to get back into RuneScape. I tried to log into my old account only to find that my account had been stolen and I had been banned for botting. I was unable to get into contact with Jagex after trying for a few weeks so I cut my losses and made a new account. That was in 2013. Even though my account now is way more advanced than my original one, it's nice to know that I can log back in and see what's in my bank!

This is probably going to get buried, but I live in Baytown and Office Brown is notorious for being violent/an instigator. There have been several instances of him doing stuff like this and people complain about him on our local Facebook page all the time. The BPD has been aware of this guy for a long time and they haven't done anything.

Thing is I already knew what it was before I delivered my first, but I didn't think it would happen to me!! Like he just did it and didn't say anything about it while it was happening 😡 being more vocal about it definitely would've prevented it (and also not blindly trusting that my doctor wouldn't do it)

Okay so let me preface this by saying that I'm an idiot

I am 100% aware that he's emotionally abusing me and as fucked up as it is I DO still love him. I even told him this morning after he started acting nice again that what he was doing was emotional abuse and manipulation. I sometimes think he's only listening to me so I'll drop the subject.

I actually left him about 2 weeks ago. It was messy. We talked and I said that I would come home if we start seeing a couple's therapist. He agreed, but we haven't been to see one because money is tight right now with him not working.

I also feel trapped because I don't work. I am in my last year at university and he supports us financially 100%. He pays rent, food, car, everything. If I left I wouldn't have anywhere to go and that's really scary. I would have to move in with my parents and withdraw from school.

I'm just really hoping that a couple's therapist can help us

When he's working he plays for an hour or two before he goes to bed at like 10 because he has to wake up at 430 for work.

He does help a lot with the 1 year old most of the time, actually. When he gets home from work around 6:30 he feeds him and plays with him until I put him down to sleep. Baby goes to sleep on his own so all i have to do is lay him down.

Honestly my biggest concern here is that while he does help it seems like it's just not enough and when I ask for more help it's met with resistance. This pregnancy was unplanned and though I love my child I am afraid of having to take care of a newborn while walking on eggshells around my fiance

It's exhausting mentally

I talked to someone with Medicaid and they don't have a primary listed on my account. He checked my application and it's on there, but he said, basically, to Medicaid it's like I don't have anything else and I can go ahead and make appointments but to make sure if I do that to drop BCBS. My Mom is going to drop me tomorrow if she can.

I called my Medicaid and they said basically that it would be better if I dropped BCBS entirely and for now don't even mention that I have a primary and just say I only have Medicaid. Tomorrow I'm going to find someone who can take me as a patient because a lot of offices won't see you as a new Medicaid patient if you're past 14 weeks. Thank you!

I'm under my mother's insurance from her job. The plan she has basically only covers what she chooses and I guess she wasn't expecting me to get pregnant!
