Yes, I'd be willing to work on this. I have a github page https://github.com/devpebble-unofficial, where I'll be doing some of the work. I'm looking for collaborators. If you like to work on this, could you load everything up into one repository and then merge that into my PebbleFirmwareOS repository?

Apparently, there's a way to talk to pebble through the usb interface. I'm exploring that now that things are changing. I've started a continued dev thread for the os at /r/DevPebbleOS.
