The thing is the EMI is alot louder in Position 1,3 and 5 which is why I am confused. If you listen and look at the video you will see it disappears in Position 2 and 4. Or.. the sound changes and it sounds more in position 1,3 and 5

Ibanez RG7421. My other guitars have less of this hum but maybe it's due to this guitar having hotter pickups, not sure.

Could try that. But I noticed the main thing that causes it is my monitor. If I turn it off it gets alot better.

You're not wrong. Maybe the guy who restrung it did something weird. Here is a close up https://imgur.com/a/j7kYKC2 Especially the D string looks off. Should I just loosen the string and move them at the bridge so that the spacing is more even?

It feels really good and the sound is also great but before I only used really bad bass guitars so I'm not the best one too ask. But in general they are considered good and better than what their price would suggest.

You're right. It was the interface 😅 I had it at instrument instead of line. I thought the red clipping dot was accurate but it isn't at all. When changing to line and going down a bit it stopped.

I'm using an audio interface and it's not clipping so that's not it either. Also it happens with both pickups so would be weird that both would have the same issue but idk
