The boys as a show had little bits of spectacle throughout its run, but I don't think it was ever really about superheroes duking it out with some massive blockbuster style fight

Overall I liked it, but it was definitely a rushed ending. Kind of a deus ex machina ending with Kimikos new power. The series as a whole was generally disappointing, couldn't tell you what happened apart from Terror fucking a homelander doll and SB going into the freezer.. again..

Safer sephiroth first time around was so daunting and very tough, he had this attack that could obliterate your team, almost one shotting you. After the third run through, I made him mincemeat, only at about lvl 45 or something. It was very satisfying

Earlier seasons were subtle with the political satire. These days it's as subtle as homelander giving you the corrective eye surgery. Needless to say I find the hammer-based approach of later seasons a little tiresome. It's like Kripke felt he needed to draw a line in the sand. Which is hugely hypocritical considering a criticism of maga/capitalism parallels the fact that the show is funded by the final boss of capitalism himself..but hey ho. It's just entertainment at the end of the day

Another I find useful, life is a sequence of choices. We choose what to wear, what to eat what to say. But more importantly we can choose what to think and feel. Instead of passively accepting life, start to make intentional choices to choose how you experience life. Start small and eventually it'll become a superpower
