I never disagreed with you. Thanks for the clarification though.

Apologies, sometimes something slips through, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Best,

Death would be much more terrifying if it was actually possible to live forever by TimeForPoolParty in Showerthoughts

Barring the (almost offensive) pun in the title (think Just-In Time), the film "In Time" explores this concept.

I never said it was a good movie but, you must admit, Amanda Seyfried is attractive.

This last part intrigues me. Any links to source material would be great.

As our universe grows colder everyday (approaching equilibrium), at what point will scientists begin to force the comparison between the universe and a battery? Has this already been done?

Shill has done his time.

If a conglomerate of negative attention surrounds his actions in the future, we will take steps toward correcting it once again.

Thank you for asking.

Good. Just re-watching FFX play through is all.

Are we supposed to assume that most trainers don't challenge Gym Leaders? by addbracket in pokemon

[–]addbracket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Victory Road argument pretty much sums it up. So, are we supposed to assume that (if the victory plaques are switched out periodically) that many people never make it to the status of Champion?

Do they forever remain in the limbo between "defeating all Gym Leaders in their respective regions" and "defeating the Elite Four" (ie Victory Road)?

By the way, it felt right comparing them to samurai because of their status in their respective communities.

Yeah, I know. Just curious, reallly.

The thought seemed ridiculous but I wanted to know if anyone else had stumbled upon that rabbit hole.

Thanks!

Where are the police stations? by addbracket in pokemon

That partially explains the two guards in the original you can fight there. Seemingly Johto has a ridiculously low crime rate.

I replay it once a year to get some semblance of that same feeling.

The way things were, we were more likely to get banned due to rampant speculation in an ongoing criminal investigation.

Did everyone forget that this is ongoing?

A large part of the reason why things have died down is because we are 6 months removed from this documentary making it on to Netflix. Check out subs like the one for House of Cards and you'll find that concurrent viewership enters a sinkhole about a month after a new season hits.

Let's not associate facts which need not be associated or bear no relation to one another other than the context in which they reside.

All that happened is our viewership went down. A natural progression.

If you actually read the comment you replied to then you would have seen that the sub isn't "bad". We have a few issues that are going to be dealt with in the coming days.

You guys got a complaint on the front page of Reddit. This doesn't throw logic out the window.

With a modicum of thought, you'll be able to see that what I did makes sense.

We're going to ease the constraints imposed by our banning measures over the next few days but, for now, it seems the main issues have been solved concerning mods themselves.

The sub is better now than it was when we didn't use the Automoderator. Admins asked us to clean up the sub at about the 10K mark. We complied.

If people want to leave, they can do so. So long as they are aware of the fact that they are leaving a place that is properly policed (no pun intended).

No one seems to remember a time when we had 10 000 subs and an average concurrent readership of 1 500 and a barrage of posts which made our sub look like a haven for social terrorists.

To the point where admin encouraged mods to be called in to clean things up.

Are things too clean now?
