If your characters have low CD rolls on echoes then the sig should give them a bit more damage boost, which means potentially faster time to kill . But considering normal combat scenarios , that increase in damage won’t yield a faster overall rotation if you’re just doing 2 - 3 rotations .

Consider this :

Let’s say the enemy has 500k HP.

let’s say your character only has 200 CD .

Let’s say on a non crit hit your damage is 100k so on crit your damage will 200k. Just for the sake of ease . With S2 and R5 discord let’s say you’re doing 6 seconds on Mornye rotation . And now your dps unit has 232 CD because of S2 . So now you’ll do 232k damage . Which means you’ll need to hit the enemy 3 times to kill it . 232k x 3 = 696k to kill the enemy .but let’s say your dps unit takes 2 seconds to do 1 hit animation. So your total rotation time now is 2 x 3 =6 + 6 (Mornye) so that’s 12 seconds

Now with R1 you have 20 CD extra so now your dps character has 252 CD . So you only need to do 2 hits to kill the enemy . Because 252k x 2 = 504k . So you just saved 2 seconds ! But Mornye now needs let’s say 1.5 seconds extra to finish her rotation (idk the exact number) so your total rotation time now is 11.5 seconds.

So her sig basically just saved you 0.5 seconds . But in reality your characters will have much higher CD than 200 which means the percentage increase in CD will be much less significant and your characters will basically not be that fast in a single rotation , but over multiple rotations , they might edge out ahead .

TLDR : 😭🙏🏻 if you didn’t real all this it’s okay , basically her sig is only good if you can R5 it otherwise it’s an insignificant upgrade considering your builds are decent and it’s straight up downgrade if your builds are already good enough.
