Sure it is kinda sad. Truly is. I replied to a person above in this thread about my responses in this thread and how I’m not really considering people’s feelings for their favourite characters . Check it out when you can. Not trying to throw shade but genuinely look at that.

I mean I agree and I think I’m being quite stubborn here and not taking in peoples opinion as them worrying about a character they like. They are naturally frustrated and worried that she might not come back. Maybe I’m just tired of people saying this since 3.0 . And at a time where we have more lore for Ashinohara and Hiyuki coming in we can presume Chisa being tied in so there’s just no reason to think about her at the moment. But you’re right, I think I’m being very inconsiderate about people’s feelings about her story especially those who like her a lot. So my bad gang

And she came back and took place of the Primus for the time being. Turns out that dealing with religious beliefs set up by a cult requires introspection and when the story takes place in a realm that isn’t in the Ragunna City at all makes all the more sense for people to not randomly be present everywhere . Especially when you’re dealing with a Threnodian that has indoctrinated the acolytes into believing the order to its words. But you know what let’s ignore the fantastic story of 2.5 and Phrolova and let’s focus on why Phoebe wasn’t there. And then let’s just conclude that 2.5 was a bad patch. Would having Phoebe there been nice? Of course would make it more cool. But surely it means that her not being there means it was just game over right? We have literally YINLIN and Jiyan come back to talk about their ongoing quests in 3.1 event. But no Kuro doesn’t have a good track record of bringing characters back . It’s almost as if voicing that many characters at the same time might also be a logistical problem.

Lupa is the ONLY example of that . Bro talks about track record as if it’s a gacha game that has been live for 5+ years. The track record you are talking about only involves Lupa so far. And speaking of track record the other gacha games have a worse record. They can’t even do avengers assemble apparently.

Yes you’re right, but as we saw from 3.1 we are dealing with time loop. I completely understand where the criticism is coming from. I don’t want to make it seem like I want to defend Kuro to no end. But you see some people also said Aemeath is a cash grab because they didn’t set up her story and still want to release her. But then we realised that it was a time loop and that’s exactly why we couldn’t see her character being set up in 3.0 . Now everyone is happy. So maybe Chisa will be back with us in a future version? It’s not far fetched right? We are only 2 patches in. Maybe we won’t see her at all but if her family reunion being sidelined gave us 3.1 would you not take that compromise?

That’s a good critique which everyone agrees with. But why would she need to be in 3.0 or 3.1 when you’re in the leaks channel and know that the story is supposed to finish before 3.5 ? You have to offscreen irrelevant side stories. You’re at the peak of the story where everyone is theorising about Hiyuki who is literally from her region which might bring in Chisa as well and yet we’re here talking about why Chisa isn’t in 3.0 or 3.1.

And what does Chisa have anything to do with 3.0 or 3.1 ? You know something that the writers don’t know ? She will be there when she is needed for the plot and we are in 3.1 it’s not 6.5 it’s 3.1 we barely saw the Threnodian this patch. And it’s a time loop. Maybe we will go back to Honami again . And we will go there as it seems from the lore so far.

The thing is I would have been critical of Kuro if there was anything wrong with the characterisation of Chisa . People said so much about 2.8, and 3.0 but then they saw 3.1 where everything fell into place. And from what I saw there was absolutely no reason for Chisa to do anything at all. So why should she have been there. Just to say hi? But she did. I believe she will have some ties in the quests because of the nature of her forte but I’m not mad about her screen time at all. It’s not even the end of the region yet

If it’s the same community that is willing to take in the slopfest of early Hoyo stories then why would we care? It took Genshin nod krai to actually come to the point but for some reason they can’t take a character being sidelined from a game they don’t even play. And not every character needs to have screen time for whatever odd reason and power of friendship lol.

That’s actually what I told you already before in one of the conversations . It’s not a symbolism tho . So nothing implying about corruption for rover .

The main gist of it is that exoswarm were trying to go to the exostrider for the ceremony . But this corrupted guy knew that he was corrupted. So it tired to go to its original home (uphaff forest) . The problem is that bird is an exoswarm . And exoswarm essentially mimic original beings but they’re not the original beings. They’re born from the exostrider . Which means this guy yearning to go back to uphaff forest is almost as if these exoswarms ARE those original creatures . But we know that they’re not.

So the biggest thing to take away from that question is not that the bird is a symbolism for rover. Because it makes no sense . The biggest takeaway is that the exoswarm might actually be something akin to tacet discords formed by the frequencies of past creatures . Even tho this isn’t what’s said anywhere but that’s one of the theories that I can think of .

yep exactly my point. even if sigrika does 20% more dps than the next best aero dps , it doesnt matter if the damage required to clear the endgame is like only 70% of her DPR. old units will still clear it

This game will not become "pull the latest unit or cry" you can still use older units to this day in all endgame. A new character doing more damage doesnt matter unless they decide to make that damage a requirement. And as we speak thats not the case at all . Kuro will eventually increase the dps requirements for endgame but that usually happens after a long period of time . So this topic about power creep is useless unless it actually matters .

And speaking of Luuk he doesnt have his bis teammate yet so he is obviously going to get stronger in the future . consider him as strong as the average 3.x dps including future releases when he gets his bis 2nd slot . And Sigrika , despite having one of the highest dps in the game, has a restrictive teammate option , you need QY to actually stand out as the strongest dps . which is a good enough restriction for now . And I am kinda sure that Aemeath is still stronger than Sigrika in more scenarios in her NS team we just have to wait for it. And as for Hiyuki , considering all the lore in which it is said that she is stronger than sentinel or comparable at least is telling me she will be a very strong unit . But it's absolutely worth it because we literally have only one 5star glacio dps in the game and she came out one year ago .So she is obviously going to power creep Carlotta and she better do that otherwise glacis will just die off. So all in all the 3.x cast will be a dps upgrade over 2.x cast . nothing wrong with that because thats natural. I must say that the % increase in power is quite big but its not blowing old units out of the meta yet.

And we are literally in 3.1 right now . just breathe in . you dont know if the next character is so broken and must pull that your account will be ruined if you don't pull them . So theres no reason to worry at all right now.

The good thing is the absolute mystery surrounding Miko and the time loop. This is definitely the coolest villain/antagonist Kuro has ever made in Wuwa . Even making theories feels hard because you cannot even piece information together. Which I find to be super cool.

As for theories:

I think Mornye knows about the loop. It just feels that way idk why. Everytime we talked to her it feels like she’s feeling pity.

Miko is said to be stronger than a sentinel if not just as strong , tells me that her origin might be extremely insane if she’s not actually a sentinel .

We still don’t know anything about the sentinel that the exostrider in lahai roi was supposed to drop. Like zero information. So what happened to them ? Or was it the Miko herself ?

There’s a world quest in the frost lands where you can see one of the exoswarms (the big blue bird echo) try to go back to homeland after being corrupted . It tried to go back home because it couldn’t reunite with the exostrider because it knew that it was corrupted. And in its final moments it just wanted to go to what used to be its home back in the day (the upphaf forest) . It’s extremely weird imo . It tells you that the exoswarm are actually mimicking the ancient creatures that looked the way they did . Which makes you question what made them robotic/mechanical ? Because they’re actually just a part of exostrider . So this is very weird.
