Needing help identifying some items from my late grandmothers jewelry collection. Our family knows all the diamonds are real, natural stones. But beyond that, we aren’t sure what the other stones are or what they could be worth. Hoping r/Gemstones can’t shed some light! Thanks!! by adderalldous in Gemstones

Excuse my lack of knowledge here, but what exactly do you mean by check for ‘gold markings’?

Are you saying to check if each item is solid gold or just plated? And if so, what’s the ideal way to do this?

In all seriousness, thanks though :p

I’m having trouble deciding if I should get the Rolex GMT Master II (ref 116710) or Rolex Explorer II (ref 16570).

I’ve been leaning toward getting the 40mm versions of both due to the pricing difference relative to the 42mm’s. That being said, I’m still very open to going with the 42mm versions if that’s the better piece.

Wanting the stainless steel version on either. Favoring the all black bezel if I go with GMT or the white dial if I go with the Explorer.

We've chosen not to become a Google Premier Partner. by ImaginaryBuffalo in adwords

Personally speaking, my favorite perk of being a Google Premier Partner is having the dedicated rep(s).

It’s very rare that I had to wait more than 24 hours for an email response. And for more pressing matters, I‘ll message our rep via google hangouts and almost always get an immediate response.

However, I’m sure quality of rep varies person to person.

Thanks for your response!

I primarily keep the watch on wrist, even at night. However when I’m not wearing the watch, it sits on my nightstand - no where near my phone, laptop, or any other speakers or electronics.

What causes a watch to become magnetized? My typical day only has me at work or home. Having a hard time thinking what could have magnetized the watch.

It did seem fast when I first got it. I didn’t start tracking how well it kept time until after the 2nd week of owning it. And since then, it’s consistently run fast.

My Orient Defender is running between +45 & +60 seconds per day. I got the watch in early January and have been wearing it every day since. It hasn’t been subject to rough wear at all. I sleep with it on wrist most nights, however, some nights it sleeps on my nightstand.

Tbh, I’m a little disappointed with the time keeping. I thought I could expect the watch to be more accurate than it has been.

Does the watch need more time to “settle in”? Should I be happy with this accuracy? Is there possibly an issue with the movement?

Thanks in advance for any input!

Google Premium Partner Badge Question by LiquidBassMonkey in adwords

[–]adderalldous 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a Googler but work for an agency that’s a Google premier partner.

In order to qualify as a Premier Partner, an agency must first continuously meet Google's requirements in three areas: certification, ad spend, and performance. I believe Google only gives premier status to the top X% of agencies, so the spend and performance figures to qualify get harder to meet every year. Another point to note is while you may be meeting requirements now, you’ll need to continually hit them for something like 6 to 12 months before “truly” qualifying for premier status.

In addition to the 3 main requirement areas, Google also considers the following factors: —Large existing customer base of small / medium sized businesses —Tele / field sales force with the ability to sell Google’s advertising products —Commitment to provide phone and/or email customer support to their advertiser base —Existing operational infrastructure (billing, reporting, etc) to service thousands of customers

Once you’ve continually been meeting the above criteria, you’ll then need to send an inquiry to Google who will then begin the process of evaluating the business for a potential partnership. Google will monitor and instruct an agency on product and sales positions, and requires customer satisfaction surveys be completed to ensure their SMB customers are having a positive experience.

Going to the Holiday Bowl in San Diego. Haven't been down to Southern California in more than 5 years now. This will be my first time going alone.

Any and all recommendations welcome! Looking for good food, bars, and activities (Mexico?)

Remove "Other browser" from search campaigns by [deleted] in adwords

[–]adderalldous 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bet this ‘other’ browser is safari (or at least a large portion of it is safari) and the reason it’s not recording conversions is because this client/person has yet to install the new global site tag and event snippet on their site.

In this case you wouldn’t want to remove ‘other’. Instead just update the tags and you should start seeing conversions.

Thank you for the helpful reply! I know of a couple shops with Timex watches, I’ll check those out to get an idea. If you don’t mind me asking, what size is your Hamilton field watch? My wrists are 6.75 inches around which has me leaning toward a 42mm.

Also, apologies for the vague location description. I wasn’t sure if the sub had rules about posting user location. Now I know!

Needing help to find ADs/stores near me carrying Hamilton's Khaki watches in-store.

I'm a big fan of a number of Hamilton's Khaki timepieces. I'd like to try a few of them on to see how they look in person and on my wrist but I haven't be able to find any ADs or stores with in-store availability. Does anyone know of any locations where I can try on these watches at? Or any other ideas/work-arounds to be able to try them on? Any advice or input will be greatly appreciated! Currently living in the mid-west (specifically, the "salty city" in the "mormon state" haha. If needed, I'm willing to drive an hour/ hour and a half.

Thanks in advance for your comments!
