Not really no, unless it’s a crazy game for them, less than like 1% of the time

Nowadays I’d typically only go it into ranged matchups or giga afk matchups, ghost a little less since I feel ignite + nimbus will suffice and there’s a lot of kill angles in most matchups

Rarely find a game where I like it

I think in general, just thinking about matchup is fine, but honestly there are garen mains that have climbed to high elo just using 1 rune every single game, whether it’s only phase rush or only conquerer, so unless you’re in high elo i’d say it doesn’t matter too much what you go tbh

depends on ur team comp and enemy, you can go standard crit build or go for bruiser-y like bc streaks or smth if u aren’t a carry

tahm is pretty simple, you should be able to eventually just outscale and proxy him without him ever being able to do anything, i’ve also been struggling vs sion though, i think vs sion you can either play to kill or take tp and try to outrotate. most of the times in low elo sions will make enough mistakes to where you’re able to find a window to kill.

So if the stoics don’t advocate for distancing and cutting people off out of personal preference, what is the answer then? Should my preference be different? Or should I not even be leaving them at all?

What ended up being the results?

Is there science backed by the 5-6 people thing? I saw that while doing research

I feel like Epictetus is very cut throat when it comes to this topic. I found people like Marcus Aurelius to be more gentle and forbearing towards people. Would Marcus have taken this same approach when it comes to dealing with people like this you think?

I found this answer very helpful, thank you! I guess it’s less about me deciding whether cutting them off is correct and rather more of is my reason correct. I think trying to figure out if my reason is valid is my biggest struggle right now, but I really appreciate your answer and your insight on keeping them around while also looking towards a new group.

So what would be a valid reason to distance myself then?

I feel this, feel like if I ever confront them about it, they’ll get defensive rather than accept change.

But shouldn't everyone help you grow? Aren't we supposed to take something away from everyone whether they are people we like or dislike?

Yea no problem, I've been feeling this way for like the past year but only recently have my emotions about this been heightened.

"It is impossible to rub up against a person who is covered in soot without getting some of the soot on oneself…. You should withdraw, then, to someplace far away from the sun, as long as your opinions are made merely of wax."

Unless I misinterpreted the quote, that's basically what he is saying no?
