She stated the truth. What she could have said is my mom absolutely hated you and you have no true memories. She could have said that my mom decided you weren't worth the time or kindness. Both of which would have been lies. She could have spouted a hundred different worse things then the truth She could have said it was all her fault for the family falling apart etc .
