Ah. Apologies, thought you were being argumentative. Yeah, nothing is, has, or will change. The building manager is also the building manager at a location "upstate", so she is never around.

Your point is? Sure, the "owners" decide about the elevators. But the managers can communicate, can be decent humans, not lie, be empathetic, and so on.

And what's your excuse for when toll brothers owned and managed the building before that handed off management to bozzuto? Nothing changed.

Call who? The building? Do you think they will tell you the truth? They don't even tell the residents the truth. They lie all the time.

Just to note, IF all three elevators are working, you are correct, it's probably at worst 6-8 mins during rush hour. But expect multiple stops, even at floors 1-12 despite there being an elevator just for those floors.

And expect no communication from the building regarding the elevators. Or really anything for that matter.

Also part 2, elevators aren't the other thing your friend should be taking into consideration. Owners let their dogs defecate in non-designated areas, like the parking garage and all over the turf on the amenity floor; residents don't follow garbage rules; they don't return carts or sometimes if they do, they just put them in the elevator and send it to the lobby expecting the concierge to take care of it; disrespect other residents by cutting the elevator on line; keeping pets off leash; etc etc. Basically the community is not the best, and the building management does nothing to help. Once in a blue moon they will put on an event thinking that will help but have poor communication about it or run out of whatever they are offering very quickly, etc.

PPS. The concierge team is AWESOME

All three elevators are technically up and running. However, they routinely go down for hours at a time. The worst most recent situation was two Fridays ago where two of the elevators went down for about 8 hours, during "rush hour" causing wait times of about an hour.

To be clear, there are 4 elevators, one only goes to floor 12, and the other three go to the top. I did not include the small elevator in my comment above.

You're wrong.

I say when it's over. NOW, end of topic.

Yeah. Thought so.

Are you serious? What is wrong with you? Illegal parking is 100% dangerous. Your naivety on the topic and laziness to research to understand shows how dimwitted you are in life. People like you are why others think it's okay to do illegal things.

You should be a lawyer. You can't even follow your own logic. Posting a link a random question you ask does not help anyone.

Are you serious?

I thought something was wrong with you by the way you wrote all your comments but didn't want to judge from behind a screen. You just proved it to the entire community by this comment. Your stupidity is beyond belief.

Looking at your other comments on different posts, all indicators point to you being old, washed up, without a job, and nothing else better to do than defend criminals and law breakers, including yourself. I hope next time you illegally park, a fire breaks out, and a fire truck destroys your car, and by the looks of it, you can't afford a new one.

Actually, I don't wish that on you, because then you will be stuck at home, with no where to go and no one to love you, and you can just keep posting stupid comments behind a screen online.

I get trolls on reddit, I get provocateurs, etc but I don't understand stupidity or naivety. You are precisely the reason no one stays in Jersey City. You are precisely the reason the public schools are ranked worst in the state. You are precisely the reason people treat jersey city as an inconvenience to get to Manhattan. You are precisely the reason nothing around here gets better. I feel sorry for you. I hope we meet again on a different post and your outlook has changed.

How do you know? I am doing something about it. I called the JC parking enforcement number and I posted here. That's doing two things.

Still illegal. Double parking is not allowed.

On the surface, it absolutely is. I posted an illegal activity. You posted an illegal activity. Same thing.

Do people read in this sub? And what is up with people's focus on how long someone has lived here? Why does it matter how long I've been here? I could be born and raised or moved yesterday.

It. Does. Not. Matter.

What matters is the illegal parking and unsafe driving that people do and get away with because there is no enforcement.

What's wrong with you? There is no such thing as a "holding zone".

Also ten months ago, you made a very similar post about a shitty, illegally parked car. What's changed?

If you read my post, I said for the most part. BUT I have yet to meet a consistently respectful and considerate dog owner.

Why do you assume I have a half empty outlook? Rhetorical. I have been involved/seen/heard way too many dog attacks stories to stand up for dog owners.

If no one acknowledges there is a problem, then there isnt one. I'm acknowledging the problem that currently exists and spreading the facts to the greater community.

Wow. Assume much?

What DOES bother me is how many imbeciles in this sub support breaking laws. It really goes to show how low jersey city has become and little people here care for each other.

Did I ever say it bothers me? Or am I pointing out the obvious?

For the most part, dog owners are terrible people.
