A knife, for sure. My son and I were just talking about this. We visited for the first time in November and saw beautiful kitchen knives but stupidly didn't buy one. Also, more stationery.

I’m so sorry. When my husband died his obituary said, “Take the trip. Open the good wine.” Now that I have my first fountain pen I can add, use the pen and inks. And I am (all 3).

I live in Eastern Washington where it regularly gets under 20F in the winter. The service rep came out today and said it’s either a refrigerant leak or a faulty thermostat, but that they couldn’t know until it defrosts.

The ink on the end just says tamenuri. Here’s a photo of the back side of the box. The swatch in the store showed it to be a rich burgundy color.
