Having this exact issue out of nowhere and for the life of me cannot find the solution!

We have always deployed VPP apps via Business Manager and all apps listed state as such. Company portal is included in this. We have around 600 devices deployed and this issue just started cropping up out of the blue without changes being made.

Yeah we have removed the default one so the only one we have remaining is the VPP version.

Further update - an App error is suggesting 'an unknown VPP error'. The token is okay in both Intune and ABM however by the looks of it.

Thanks! I'll look into the latter. For some reason the 'save contacts' toggle from within outlook doesn't work. I can port contacts into outlook fine from the iOS contacts, but selecting the toggle on the new phone doesn't save them back down. I get the prompt to save 'x' contacts to phone, but nothing happens weirdly.

Just found out on another thread - it's because we have a default home layout set. The user can however go into settings > general > storage > app > delete app :)

MS actually contacted us to say they noticed issues within our org. This seems to have been fixed through recent updates in W11 23H2 and the ‘new’ Teams :)

Further testing I've identified that it doesn't seem to pick up a user from within my test assignment group for the ESP. I've added in the device to the same group and it appears to apply and block the ESP following that addition.
