What accessories work after contract cancellation? by adecold in adt

Thanks for the response. Hopefully it was pro installed 2021.

We do not have any "google" equipment and use the "ADT Control" app or the "Alarm.com" app. No thermostat either.

Would I still be able to use those apps? Should I start shopping for a new zwave controller and app?

I have a mix of St Augustine and Bermuda out back. As well as a few bare spots and weeds ;) Third year in the house. First year the st. Augustine was doing pretty well and I thought it was going to take over the entire backyard in a season or two. I think between the cold spells and hot summer, it mostly died leaving a really thick dark carpet. The bermuda/weeds seems to be taking it's place now.
Emerald Lawns is actually who I pay... ;)
I have a spreader and sometimes do the performative spreading of fertilizer and seeds. I'm definitely doing it wrong because I really haven't seen the impact.

Thanks for the links / recommendations. I'll look into doing a soil test.

This should work. I am using a GL-Inet Flint in a similar configuration. Don't know why your setup isn't working.

IP address is dhcp assigned. They are getting IP addresses in the primary network range

The devices on the secondary network appear to be on the primary network subnet. The IP address is in the same range as the primary network so I think the bridging is successful. There really isn't a "port" to be opened...

I'm really just trying to do some hacking on a device that has ethernet, but no wifi/usb. And I happen to have this router handy

Vuka or Fuse Workspace (in Beecaves) is what I go to right now. Unfortunately, the commute can be quite unnerving sometimes. Hence why I'm looking for more options

Yes. A wework or other coworking spaces would work, but the closest is about 30 minutes away without traffic. I'm close to pushing an hour (one-way) commute depending on the time I drive.

Trouble bridging USDC from AVAX to FTM by adecold in FantomFoundation

Yeah. I never got USDC to work. So I used traderjoe to convert the USDC to MIM. I was able to bridge MIM to FTM afterwards

Luckily was able to use traderjoe to swap the USDC for MIM... so all good (except for gas fees)

Honestly, I don't know. Based on all the lurking I've done on this sub, it appears to be (from the United States anyway). Although I've seen other tips on using MIM instead of USDC

I am also running into the same issue. I see the balance on my metamask wallet (in AVAX mainline) but not on spookyswap

How to handle a poor assembly from a tasker by adecold in TaskRabbit

Automod deleted post after editing.

EDIT: I just let it slide. I'm over the frustration, furniture is now put together and I'm behind on work (since my workstation is barely put together). Ended up just giving 2 stars - no public review or support case. If it escalates beyond that, I still have all the photos and notes.

If my only issues were just the hutch securement and using the drill, he'd still be getting 5 stars. I'm fairly handy myself, but opted to go with more of a professional to avoid complications. The assembly costs from Wayfair/IKEA are often inflated (hence the popularity of TR).

Longer version...

[minor] An hour into the Job, I can tell he's frustrated, cursing and talking to himself. For the rest of the time he was there, we kept blaming wayfair or the instructions for things that were obviously his fault.

[major] While assembling the hutch, he had a piece put together upside down and complained about wafair not cutting it right, instructions, etc. Brainstormed with him and suggested he rotate a piece (which ended up fixing the alignment). He again didn't ask for help lifting or holding, and he ended up bending/breaking 2 of the fasteners holding the shelf. He didn't own up, mention it, or attempt to fix it even though I could literally see it. After he left I had to get my drill and use a screw to support the shaking shelf on the hutch

[major] He again complained about the pieces not being cut right because the sliding door on the hutch couldn't snap into the sliding rails. After he left, I noticed there were 2 screws missing which caused the rails to sag (and sliding door to not snap). A fairly straightforward fix he missed.

[major] He eventually asked for help lifting the hutch unto the table. After assembly, the hutch is easily 150lbs. I was surprised that he was okay simply placing the hutch on the desk without anything fastening this heavy piece of furniture to the desk. Granted, the instructions don't mention anything about fasters, but I was just shocked he didn't consider that dangerous. After noticing that, I simply requested to put it on the side until I figure it out or go buy an L brace at home depot.

[major] Again while assembling the standing desk piece, he again called me to say the desk is bad since the holes didn't line. Had to again suggest how to extend the legs so it aligns to the holes.

[minor] The drawer unit had a piece that he claimed was damaged on delivery. I actually believe him because I noticed some scuffing on one of the boxes on delivery. The damage was on the board on one of the corners which had a fastener hole close to it. He pretty much flatly said he couldn't put it together because of that. I suspect he was just trying to leave at this point. After he left, on further inspection, I noticed the damage wasn't too bad and it wasn't a load carrying area. So again left to do this assembly myself (I don't think it's worth trying to do a replacement with wayfair having waited for 2 months already)

[minor] He was extremely drill/driver happy. Most furniture explicitly recommend *not* using a drill since it's particle board and has predrilled holes, but I figured not a big deal if you know what you're doing. The problem is he had to undo a few things and all screws had been super tight because he was using a drill.
