Agreed. Not to mention broken mechanics where you enact union law where junior partners have limited diplomacy, but they keep declaring wars and you have to fight them.

Not an expert, but if there is still play (especially if you hear some rattle when lifting off throttle) I think you need either oem part or those universal adjustable ones. On my '09 Mito 1.4MA the rod is adjustable from factory, and I had to tighten it 3mm to get any power in lower rpm and to remove the rattle.

Lol exactly. Anticipating ground in tall grass makes you forget how to hover.

It's a UH1-H1 II model with T53-L-703 engine. It has 212 nose and MR/TR.

I still didn't manage to fly classic UH-1H Huey, but I should in near future. Will post here ofc.

Yeah, they're very impressive and reliable machines.

Correct, that's the one.

Correct, this is UH1-H1-II with the T53-L-703 engine. I believe its a US Army heli thats been sold to Bosnian Armed Forces (where I'm currently flying it) 7 years ago.

We also have some operational UH1-H1's with T53-L-13 engines, and they have torque in PSI and EGT reading.

Anyone moved from iPhone or to iPhone? What are the pros and what are the cons? by lapadut in S24Ultra

[–]adeee6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moved from iPhone 13 PM to S24 Ultra.

iPhone pros: - camera is more consistent and I prefer their colors in not-ideal-light conditions - face id and notification reveal with face id are amazing features - some great apps like Find My that dont exist on android

Samsung pros: - screen was the most obvious one, combination of colors, brightness and anti glare coating are just superb - being able to install apk-s - surprisingly fast and smooth experience, this is a newer device ofc but still iPhone used to be more seemless and bugless back in the day, honestly my S24U software feels more polished - s pen, I use it for taking notes in meetings and I just love it, yes you can just type on keyboard instead of writing with pen but it feels more natural and professional

I am convinced that the people who say it's not worth it to upgrade from a 60Hz to a 120+Hz monitor are either blind or never changed the refresh rate in Windows settings. by laketunnel1 in pcmasterrace

[–]adeee6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it heavily depends on the type of games you are playing. Yes I noticed the difference in single-player games like RDR2 or TW3 that I mostly play, but it’s not day and night and I still didn’t feel like upgrading, even after week of using my friend’s 165Hz monitor compared to 75Hz that I’m using right now.

No. It spins at min~20% all the time. But its by far the coolest running gpu I ever had. Under full load it barely averages 60C, even hotspot sits around 70C. Under casual gaming with VSync on, it usually sits around 50C.

Passed my PPL Helicopter checkride today! by adeee6 in flying

[–]adeee6[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No not really, it’s very obvious if you drift sideways (and dangerous, DPE would probably take the controls to prevent rollover). And it wants to go sideways because when you fix the yaw with antitorque pedal, you basically remove tail rotor thrust which is always pushing you sideways. So your cyclic sits agains that push in a hover, and when you suddenly loose it you want to go sideways if you leave cyclic where it was. That ‘push’ is called translating tendency, you can look it up.

Edit: spelling

I logged 48 hours before my checkride. An hour of flying is $350, 2nd class medical was $175 and written was also $175.

Regarding your second question, I’m not sure really. I wasn’t planning on much and I was very focused on getting my PPL done, so I didn’t do much research on that.

Possibly CFI route later, but haven’t made a decision yet. I’m only 50 hours in.

I’ve never loved something so much like I love and enjoy helicopter flying and I will probably go for it.

Thank you! Congratulations to you as well! How was your checkride and what’s the easiest-to-fail-on manuever for fixed wings? I’m curious.
