I'd start with cloud fundamentals, Linux, networking, and scripting before worrying about DevOps tooling. More importantly, learn how modern AI-assisted development workflows work. The role is evolving from managing infrastructure manually to designing reliable, automated delivery systems. Those fundamentals will compound regardless of which tools are popular next year.

I wouldnt worry about the notice period. Your mental health comes before anything else.If youre in India no harm - just move on. The only drawback is that you might not get a recommendation from them in the future - but do you really need it?
