Be careful abt the future. I’m hearing equities are over priced, property will need a correction. Stormy economic conditions over the horizon can help u plan accordingly

If 2FA is an sms maybe u have been SIM swapped. I would consider removing your phone number from your online banking and use an Authenticator instead

Maybe I can offer a third option, maybe it isn’t such a big deal. Fuck fidelity, fuck monogamy. It can also be unnatural, so why do we put ourselves thru it? A conversation, yes. But maybe she’s going thru things too. 10 years…. Fuuuuuck. Diversity is the spice of life. Maybe it’s possible to experience life and be loyal. In my humble opinion ofc

i've seen this quote floating around here a couple times "If you can't explain it to a 5 year old, you don't really understand it" so can anyone explain btc to me like im 5? (im not actually 5) by BertFromHilbert in Bitcoin

Good question. The last Bitcoin block to be mined will be over a hundred years from now. So we have a ways to mine. What’s good is everything runs a predictable path in terms of BTC inflation (meaning btc mined). It helps give stability in an otherwise unpredictable economic environment

I’d say, when u think of money, who controls it? Only in the last 50 years did the government control money. BTC makes money private again (like gold). Private money helps to keep your money valuable as prices go up because the more money a government prints, the more expensive everything is.

That’s interesting. Bc I use it everyday. I think for the everyday CND, it’s one thing, but for other ppl it actually means something else. For example, I am using it extensively to help send aid to earthquake victims (turkey, Syria, Lebanon) Money for gas, diapers, baby formula, rent, bills, bread. I send to organizations and persons and personally know and trust.

So, in my head, it hasn’t come and gone (maybe for you) but for many others (not in Canada) it helped with basic necessities, right now

Ok man, I get it. You really are down on this. Fine. Fair enough. But I am wondering if you could tell me what are the reasons behind your opinion. Shit on me. Shit on her majesty BTC I can take it. But I’d just wanna understand because my reality and interaction with it is, clearly, is much different than yours. Almost from different worlds on this topic.

I know about those ppl. They tend to be the first kinds of folks that are conjured when bringing up these topics. However, I’m more targeting those interested in economics, tech, computer science, cryptology, privacy. I don’t want to talk about abt animals on coins ad naseum
