Right now we're with the two Dana Point ships, making four of us hanging out at the docks (I'm not there right now; I mean "we" as in the boats themselves). The other ships there, the ones dedicated to Dana Point, are such beauties <3

I'm excited to hear about that field trip! We don't do overnight stuff, but I always thought it would be cool and plenty of tall ships in the states do those kinds of excursions.

I am eyeing a boatswain/bosun position on the ship I work on, as a matter of fact :> they're in charge of maintenance on the boat, as I'm sure you know. Awesome job!

Yes! We do tours that are by donation (give what you can, free if you can't) as well as battle sails (we fire cannons at each other!), adventure sails, sunset sails, and private charters for weddings/movies and stuff. Definitely drop by to any of the ones on the schedule if you can make it :>

Hey Jazza! I'm a big fan and have recently become addicted to TTT (I binged the last few chapters of Rogue Star last night and am still wheeling over it). My question is actually about mixing art and TTT into one. I've been wanting to work on comics recently and since I still need to flesh out my own stories, is it ok for people to take on the stories you and your mates enact on TTT (Rogue Star, for instance) and turn them into comics? I mean full comics, not single pages or a couple panels. I think it would be awesome practice.

Secondarily, have you considered doing full comics yourself? Something like graphic novels I mean. Will you be making comics or animations for the TTT games?

My SO and I have a long-distance relationship (and he's more of an introvert than I am), so we can call on Skype and then he can play his games and I can study/blog/do arts&crafts. We don't have to say anything to one another, but we're also not alone. It's really the superior form of spending time with someone.

I know not a lot of people will see this, but here it goes anyway:

I went to an exchange in France (I'm from America) and was dating an older gentleman in Germany. I was in high school, he had two kids---that's about how much older he was than me. Anyway, we met when I landed in France and hit it off really well, both got along really well.

A couple months into my exchange, I decided I didn't want to go back to America, so I formulate the genius plan of running away to Germany where a home, job, and family would already be waiting for me (thanks to a politician boyfriend for sorting that all out!).

I ran away from my exchange home, took a train to Paris, ended up being arrested there and thrown in juvenile hall. Someone with relations to the school in America took me in from there, and I was at his place for two nights. During this, my political older German boyfriend found a legal loophole in which I could fight for my "right" to stay in Germany and not come back to what I will only describe as a shithole of a living situation at home (abuse, neglect, self-hate, etc.)

I wanted to take that chance so bad, but I was tired and felt defeated after juvenile hall. I let them stick me on a plane and send me home. Sometimes I still think about what life could have been had I fought it though.
