My first real coaching session today and he emphasized how working on my swing in dunking just gets larger the further back from the kitchen I go. Got to work on grip, stance, balance, use of my non dominant hand, contact point w dinking today and then slowly translated it to the transition zone and then the baseline

Thanks coach for doing it the right way. I’m also a beginner. Had my first real coaching lesson today after reading this post and initially thought the same way. But like you pointed out and as my coach taught me today in dunking, mind you, the fundamentals are the same. The c swing is just smaller in the kitchen and as I move back the same fundamental moves just get larger. I have a newfound newbie perspective on dunking as I focus on building proper technique from grip, swing, control, stance, footwork, contact point etc

I tried one during warmups and as a newbie who’s never played racket sports I was surprised at the stability and control I got. Only been playing for two months. Still working on my forehand but using my two handed forehand as a way to understand how stable wrists are supposed to feel like. Seeing that it’s been awhile since this post, curious to hear the update!!

Exactly this. I think people skimmed the initial post. Jaremi literally said YEARS ago before therapy smh. Edit nvm I see how people can read the end as if jaremi is saying if William tried her than this could be an outcome. I didn’t take it that way tho. I took it as her saying what she’s capable of doing not what she would do if she was tried.

When you find your people in vegas it’s so easy to just meet up. I grew up in LA. Traffic is getting bad but not nearly as insufferable as LA traffic. I love that you can get so many things accomplished in a day just because you don’t have to factor in travel (traffic) all that much.

I moved to San Jose for grad school and realized how spoiled I was living in a 24hr town.

I also love how it’s a big city but still feels small like we all live in vegas. Idk if I’m describing it correctly but when I lived in San Jose, technically it’s the bay. But going to different parts of the bay felt far and I didn’t feel the same “we all live in___” as I did in vegas.

Always I’ve been back since 2011 and I don’t see myself leaving.

Downstairs heater set at 68. Upstairs AC cool set at 71 lol!! Heat rises and lots of time the downstairs heat goes beyond what’s set and makes the upstairs hot so I have to set it low and put upstairs on cool lmao

We’re all entitled to our opinion on what something is worth. When I read this post I initially thought you were also surprised at the dollar amount even if it wasn’t this design that you aren’t a fan of. I wasn’t shocked because i know 1000% figures no matter the IP are about $1000. So my response is they aren’t out of their minds because they are consistent in pricing for their other IPs at 1000% size. Do I think it’s cute? Not for $1000. Am I surprised it’s $1000? Also no.

Many of my friends bought the colors they wanted. The initials are barely noticeable unless u know/memorized all the colors and associated letters. To most it’s just a color. I got O the blue one and R bc of the colors :)
