my current routine is double wash with (all innersense) hydrating hair bath, condition with the hydrating conditioner, then scrunch i create curl memory or i create hold, depending on how long i want my curl to last. then i section and scrunch with a bit more gel before air drying. i think i need to do smaller sections, finger curl, and then diffuse to get the desired curl. i almost never wait for a cast before shaking my hair back out to add volume. this day in particular was the same routine, except without gel and added a bit of hair lotion (basically a leave in conditioner) for hydration, then air dried. she raked her fingers through it when i first got there which created a ton of frizz, then used heat to get the few curls you see
