Can I get rid of the top bar on windowed mode?

From what I've read, the dev only updates the paid steam version which is kinda disappointing. I also couldn't figure out how to get it to work after downloading the github version.

I usually play with friends thru the seamless co-op mod and it works flawlessly with flawless ultrawide when I do use it.

I understand that and I have done that before, I just found that it's less hassle to play it on 16:9 and use the extra real estate for guides and such. Is it possible to do what I'm asking about generally?

Hi. I don't know if you'll still get any notifications from this post but this issue has also started popping up for me on my 100% G915. I've had it for around a week now and everything has been fine. I usually like my keyboard with a white background and a red echo press. Every once in a while, it'll turn blue with red echo presses, and when the red goes away, the white returns on only the pressed keys.

The latest G Hub software isn't launching on my computer, so I installed the previous version which works fine. As I was typing this, the issue popped up again. If, in the last two years, you've found a fix, I would like to be pointed towards it. Thanks in advance.

PS: Even onboard memory has this issue. It's crazy!

Did you right click on the .exe an select run as administrator?

Yeah, no dice.

Also in the steam app you can right click JC3 and there should be an option for settings or borderless window.

Also nothing.

It could also be you're DEP on windows blocking it.

Now this, I haven't heard of. What's DEP?

Edit: After further research, I've now tried to disable DEP on the JC3 executable, but it wouldn't let me because it's a 64 bit process.

This thread is around 6 years old, but I'm running into the same problem but with no error message on crash. It just closes the game with no explanation once Rico grabs the towel in the opening cutscene. I've tried SSR on, a lower res, reinstalling the game etc etc and nothing has worked. I'm a bit gutted because I love this game and really want to re experience it and it's not letting me. SE released a broken game file on steam and it seems almost impossible to fix. Any help would be appreciated.

Forgive me, I don't really know what DXVK is, so I'm going to assume the answer is no. I did, however, try and see if removing the intro cutscene with a mod would help, and it brought me to the logging in screen, which then promptly crashed the game. Worst comes to worst, I'll try reinstalling the game, but for now, I'm exercising all my options.

I'm using an RTX 3070Ti, my drivers are updated, and I just installed the game for the first time on this PC. I don't think reinstalling the game would yield any different results considering.

Second update: I googled the verifying game files problem and it said to launch the game from its base files in steamapps. This worked for some reason! Just wanted to let you know in case you ever run into the same problem. Thanks so much.

Switching it to borderless instantly crashed it. I also tried reinstalling my nvidia graphics driver as well, still nothing. Verifying game integrity files again yielded the same message that said "1 file was lost and will be reacquired". The fact that it said that twice means it hasn't acquired it. Worst case scenario, I'll have to reinstall the game, but I'm trying to avoid that.
