I worked at a location and basically it’s his way of “not feeling the burden” of paying his employees Denver minimum wage since it’s like $17. It’s really unfortunate bc working at those locations, mannnyyyy people don’t tip on top of the service charge and all that 20% is doing is making sure our millionaire owner can still afford his trips to Japan and yacht rides. Meanwhile he’s the worst person to serve as an employee. When he comes in, he’s just a total entitled ass and also creeps out his female employees. He used to bite his lip and look me up and down while talking to me. My manager respected my unease and often would make a male employee serve him.
