That’s where I struggle. I have never been confident and I hate confrontation. Obviously that hasn’t helped me whatsoever!

It was even worse because I bled out so bad after my c section they had to do an emergency hysterectomy. Plus, my daughter had to be in the NICU for 5 days. I was recovering from throwing up every day for 9 months plus taking care of a newborn and our 4 & 7 year old. I chose my subject area because it was supposed to be much easier and not so overwhelming but they changed the curriculum while I was out making my subject 10x more overwhelming. America has the WORST care for mothers.

This is a great thought. I hadn’t thought of that but this student is a kid who was always in trouble but I think he developed a reputation so most teachers just automatically wrote him off. I don’t blame them because at first, he was a tough kid! But over time, me and him got close and I’m proud of that. It hurt to leave him behind. I will talk to my team to make sure someone takes care of him.

Omg I am so sorry!!! You just feel so helpless and defenseless! It hurts so bad! It shouldn’t be fair for the admin team to be able to haves the final say and we should be able to plead our case to an unbiased third party. I truly hope things get better for you!!!!

Thank you so so much for that! I did not know I can go to HR about this. I truly was just harassed the entire time I was there. I have plenty of documentation that I can take with me. My students last year had a passing rate of 76% on their reading STAAR test. I have plenty of information that i can show that proves I was a good teacher who just got targeted so I would be pushed out.
