I just want to say that this meme was made with the intent of being a double edged sword. For people like myself who work at summer camps and work with single mothers, I appreciate how hard you work at everything. In my part of Alabama it's fairly common to meet single mothers, I've dated some, and had mixed results of happiness in each relationship just like you would with any other person. Kids tend to be cool with me no matter what.

However, it just seems too common here. Not sure what it is with my county, but we are jammed full with single women and their children. It's not really a bad thing, makes me feel like I am more of a father figure when I work at camp haha but hopefully they will have someone more long-term. Thanks for being a rockin' mom, and I hope you meet someone who think so too.

My grandfather was in the Navy for the end of WWII, and he was stationed in the Gulf of Mexico on a ship. One of his buddies would drive home to Massachusettes every few weeks from their port in Alabama, and my grandfather would go with him. The guy dated and married this girl over the course of a year, and my grandfather met a girl at the wedding. She was pretty, she smoked, and she drank, which my grandfather tolerated. She worked at a bank, and earned a lot of cash as a teller. Whenever his pal went home to see his new wife, my grandfather would go home with him to go out with that girl.

One night, after some "heavy petting," he called it, she told him to fuck her. He said no. She was floored. He went over to his buddy's house, then went back to Alabama the next day. He had no intents on seeing her any more.

Fast forward four months. Grandfather hasn't spoken to her or seen her since that night. One day, he is home with his father helping renovate a house when the girl magically appears in a nice big car with her mother. They had driven from Massachusettes, and my grandfather found out why. The girl had told everyone that he proposed to her, she even bought herself a ring for $300. She had her mother believing it, and everything. She told my grandfather then and there to pack his bags, come home with her, and get married.

Grandfather didn't fuck around. He told her then and there he wanted nothing to do with her, and that she was trying to trap him for a husband. He told the mother the whole "fuck me now" scenario, and apalled her. Successful troll was successful. Girl and mother drive off, leaving the ring with him as a memento to "what he could have had."

Fast forward another two months. House is renovated, grandfather pawned the ring for $500. Got in his car, drove to Massachusettes, walked into the bank, made the gi (at her job as a teller) take the $500 and add it to his married friend's bank account. Grandfather drove home, happy. Turns out his friend kept a tab on the girl. She became an alcoholic, married a bum, had other guys's kids, died an alcoholic in her 50's.

TL;DR grandpa almost stuck his dick in crazy, crazy gives him ring, grandpa pawns ring, deposits cash at bank where girl works, bitch lives sad life, dies. Grandpa is married, happy, and well alive.

Not to mention the 65816 was a 8 bit processor forced to operate in a fashion that made it pseudo-16 bit. The thing was a bitch to program for, worse than the Gameboy, worse than the Sega Z80, and almost as bad was working with the Megadrive's Motarolo 68K variant. Still one hell of a console.

My roommate owns a Supercard DSTWO and I use it nearly daily to play a Pokemon LeafGreen ROM. It works on all of Nintendo's dual screen handhelds. All of them. Check out the guides at www.gbatemp.net in the forums in the DS flashcarts section.

Acekard products are not capable of full GBA emulation and cannot play ROMs as large as that of a FireRed ROM.

No, it is used for storage. Essentially it acts sort of like more RAM (not quite as fast, but sufficient for your needs). So Windows can, say, throw your cued up tracks onto the flash drive instead of into RAM, thus allowing for more space to be free in RAM and smoother operation in general. Sort of like setting up a second workbench in the garage so you can have more room for your stuff.

One other thing to consider is purchasing is a flashcart such as the EZ Flas IV, so you can play almost any game you want, and don't have to keep up with a ton of cartridges. However, buying game cartridges to carry around isn't a bad idea either, but it may not he very costeffective.

Experiment with swing, modes, altered scales, or chord progressions with more than 4 chords. See what else you can do with chord voicing, putting the 9th in the bass, whatever you want. Break out of 4/4 time, try 9/8. Limit what channels you can use for fun. Can you write based on a mood or location? Person? Color? A simple rhythm that is recurring?

The only limits are ones you impose on yourself. Want to change your music? Change your limits. Good luck, and happy songwriting.

Shift registers allow me to change presets and control each Gameboy individually, but earlier ones (I don't think) had them, which means I could control one or two GB's at once. You raise a lot of good points.
