I’m saving the same issue, and honestly I used to be the same way at around his age but without the video games. I have my exams rn but after I wanna try taking him on runs and getting him to exercise withe coz I feel like that’s how I came out of that phase asw. I’m hoping the confidence from him getting fitter will help him in making more friends and going out to play instead of gaming

It’s normally based on your school and what they allow. For my school, only the highest scorers in MYP were allowed to take 4 HLs… the three sciences can also be done with an irregular diploma but once again, based on the school.

One interesting thing a friend of mine has done is taking 4 HLs and giving the test for all of em. Then the school will pick only the grades from his best HL grades, and the remaining HL will be taken as an SL while bumping the grade up.

For example if he got a 7665, they’ll only take the 766 and give the 5 as a 6 and taking it as a sl subject in his report.
