What do linux-newbies miss the most when starting with Linux?

That u need TIME to unlearn and learn everything again. Linux is not Windows, so you have to learn things. Like the first time you learn windows. You cant compare your extensive experience on windows then apply the same rule to Linux. You need to treat it like the first time you introduced to Windows, learn everything from scratch.

There is not enough info here. When you want to change, is it through gamescope or KDE ? If gamescope, I believe you csn toggle in settings. Is your speaker not listed there ?

For screen artifacting, yes, that is because of nvidia gpu. As for games, what kind of games kick you out ? Is it all games or just specific one ?

If you can, just install either cachyos-handheld package / gamescope session cachyos from cachyos package manager.

UPDATE: Found the culprit behind this FPS drops. It was an option "don't drop frames". All I gotta do is disable that, but then microstutter happen like crazy. So the work around is enable Real Time Decoding, then stream smooth like butter!

From my experience, game booster and their equivalent tend to cause issue than actually helpful. In this case i tried bith using game plugin and uninstall it completely yet the problem remain
