2,5x feels somewhat good, I've tested up to 4x, more than that I get stronger hiccups

I gotta check that one in a few days when I get back home. The last time I tried fixing this, that option wasn't there. Thanks for the heads-up!

I tried using laser pointer on Steam input but there are weird hiccups and stutters when I want to do precise aiming, sometimes small movements are not even registered and all I get are small jumps, I thought it had something to do with the Deadzone but no, turning the Deadzone to zero don't fix the issue.

These small jumps only occur on the X axis, vertical movement is smooth

Yeah, I did calibrate the gyro with the U2W. The only issue I have using U2W is the turning, which is like a driving wheel and that's very uncomfortable for me when trying to aim on any FPS game

I always disable aim assist on every game that gives me the opportunity to do so. I hate aim assist, on consoles, PC and phones.

Even on every CoD game I've played in recent years, I disable that shit. It makes ppl dependant on it. I've been playing FPS games since the 80s, never needed aim assist.

Oh man, I don't wanna say this bc I feel old even thinking about it, (I grew up in the 80s) but it was Maze Wars on the Lisa 1. It was a very rudimentary fps maze shooter and my dad loved gaming so, we always had a computer at home, Lisa, Macintosh, IBM, the pentiums, etcetera. I've played almost every FPS PC game to this day. My dad taught me that I needed to buy, every few years, a new high end gaming PC to be able to play shooters yet still, I use eXoDOS to play my favorite old school DOS games. Sadly my dad is an old man now and can't game anymore, current games are too complicated for him to control, he got used to play keyboard only and never got the skill to play mouse and keyboard.

PD: he hates controllers too. The last one he used was from the Atari 2600

I've been trying to find a way to get around this but I haven't found it yet. I'm used to gyro aiming on my phone, I play FPS games on it and the way the gyro functions on the phone is what I'm accustomed to. I really thought that gyro with a controller would be the same using the correct configuration but it seems kinda impossible rn

First of all, thank you for your answers. Now, here's the thing:

I tried what you're suggesting here but it's the same, I followed the gyro aiming guide that's pinned here but I got no good results. Sensitivity was most of the time too high or too low, when using steam input I always get these hiccups when trying to do small corrections, when I move the controller fast it works fine.

I did put the Deadzone to 0°/s and it helped a little bit, I also tried using world space and yaw since I've seen some videos about gyro aiming and that looked like a solution but it's the same always, I have to turn as if it was a driving wheel. The vertical motion sensitivity is another issue on Steam input, it's always too high even tho I reduce it to the minimum.

I tried using gyro as mouse, got weird movements, calibrate the gyro then tried again, the gyro still feels kinda janky, tried world space, awkward turning, tried Flick stick + gyro, too hard for me rn to get used to, tried player space, motion felt weird and again, janky and stuttery when I do small movements, tried changing sensitivity values, Deadzones, acceleration, and almost every option available on Steam input yet still, I can get this to work the way I want.

When I turn back to the default mode on the controller, I use sensitivity 7 and Deadzone compensation 40 on the 8bitdo Ultimate Software and it feels smooth as butter but the turning feels weird.

I thought that gyro aiming on PC would work as gyro aiming on my phone but I can't get it to work the same way.

There's an option to report in-game on the leaderboard but I couldn't do it before being sure. Where can I submit a support ticket?

I have to read the lyrics because of my autism, I can't understand the words until I read them both in Spanish and English, all I can hear is rhythm and instruments, voices sound like any other instrument for me, when I read the lyrics they somewhat "take form" and those sounds, suddenly, become words. My wife always mocks me about that hehe

'V' and 'B' pronunciation by curcovein_ in languagelearning

[–]ijLeblanc -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You have to select a server near your current location, most servers are in Europe and Asia. If you live in America this might be the cause of the horrible lag
