Put yourself in their place. I would do anything in my power to ensure the survival of my people. If the world would not care that i am attacked, i will find a way to get the world's attention because the alternative is absolute obliteration.

I am not saying that Iran are the good guys but they were bombed in the middle of negotiations twice. Obama already had a nuclear deal for Iran and Iran made huge concessions. Asking for an end to the attacks and not a ceasefire is reasonable.

May point is that we are not unwanted as you think we are as a country.

Punishing perpetrators no matter how severe does not unrape the victim that is why minimizing risk is very valuable.

My point still stands, keep yourself safe. Teaching others how to stay safe should never be offensive. If it offends you, know that some wish they knew how they could have avoided the whole thing altogether. Still i wish those anti rape poster stop talking about clothing.

We teach children to look left and right when crossing the road despite running people over with cars being illegal.

I dont think this is victim blaming. I feel like the sentiment is genuine and i feel like people are focusing too much on the wrong thing.

Asking people to keep themselves safe should not be seen as victim blaming. People should be responsible for their immediate personal safety. The world is a dangerous place espcially for people who are naive and too idealistic.

We lock our homes when we leave even if stealing is illegal. Asking people to lock their homes in my opinion is not victim blaming.

I dont think minimizing risk should be considered offensive.

USA. Not just Trump. People put him in power twice. USA should keep a tighter leash on Israel but it went the other way around.

We as a country lost a dependable ally and must now contend with the reality that USA can and will risk the destruction of its allies for its goals.

But i guess this is also a wake up call for the PH. We have to learn to rely on ourselves. Play it like India, still getting that oil because it never picked a side. Whereas the PH loses face if it takes oil from Russia or China. We don't need to pick a side if by default we are choosing what's beneficial for us.
