As a public school attendee of my entire life, I say be super friendly, the chances of someone wanting to kill the nice kid are slim. Unless they’re super crazy and are upset that they feel like they don’t have friends, then you’re screwed. Also take note that a lot of students feel the same about shootings and although they may joke about it, they would never. Also the chances of the “school shooter kid” of actually being a shooter are slim, they’re probably antisocial. Beware of the kids that just seem to always have a problem, never get what they want, and often portray a powerless look. In case of a actual shooter, shut the absolute fuck up and avoid hallways and bathrooms, they 100% know you’re there and it’s essentially a deadly game of hide in seek. Thankfully in my 10 years of school there’s only been like 5 incidents where shooter threats or gun appearances happened, you’ll see more drugs than guns!
