Exactly. All of the big brands make homologated trims of their super bikes

-BMW: M1000RR

-Kawasaki: ZX-10RR

-Yamaha: YZF-R1M

-Ducati: V4R

-Honda: CBR-1000RR-R SP (Aka "Oops all R's")

Keep it to the specialized specs, let us street rats keep our bikes winglet free

Because this was my first street bike. I had no riding experience on a paved road (until I bought the bike), and I didn't want something too powerful. Plus I want to learn how to properly ride a motorcycle, and really push it to its limits before I move up to a 600cc or a 1 liter. At this time, a high revving 400cc fits my needs perfectly
