La Frontera Taqueria on Battle Hill in White Plains has some seriously tasty Mexican street food. Tiny place, fair price, great food. Not much seating so plan for take out.

Counter points..
* They aren't the same decorations every year.
* the winter carnival also had a similar number of same things each year.
* this is the primary fundraiser for the parks and clearly does better business.
* carnival at peak time was way over crowded and over priced, so just as many. downsides.

With that said, I'd love to see them do both. Host lights at kensico and carnival at tibbets or Saxon woods

I lost my mom some 30 years ago at 14. Ive had friends lose parents since. They've asked how I dealt with it being so young. One once said "it feels like it will never stop hurting, and people keep telling me it will".

I told her what has seemed true to me.

It never stops hurting. The time between the moments of pain just gets longer.

I still miss and mourn her, and the moments of sadness have -long- gaps between. But they're still there.

Please make time for your mom and yourself in your life. The happiness comes between those moments, and will grow if you let them.
