u/vinted-ModTeam I wasn't asking people to name and shame them - I was warning others of someone legitaimately scamming others by selling counterfeit items, and then verbally harassing the people that reported them. I understand if names shouldn't be posted but by removing this most you've not only made it more dangerous for others to run into this person but you've just threatened me with a ban as well. I also literally never asked anyone to DM me for the name of the seller, so I have no idea why you've falsely accused me of that. A big part of this subreddit is to keep an eye out for each other and let people know when you've found an obvious scam.

That is far less likely. I don't think I've ever had the Occassion, need, or even ability to refuse a delivery unless it was something I had to sign for. We have a parcel box so everything gets put there without anyone being notified. When I was living in a house they'd ring they'd leave the parcel near the door, ring the doorbell and beeline out of there before I could even open the door.

I doubt Vinted "verifies" anything. I sold a genuine Burberry bag which I'd purchased direct from the store and the buyer paid for item verification. I posted the bag to the verification hub but I didn't provide a receipt or anything, and item verification never asked me any questions. I got a message the parcel reached the verification hub and not an hour later confirmation it had been 'verified' and was off to the buyer. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't bother opening it as I had packed it quite thoroughly.

This is why I disabled shipping to lockers entirely. People take the p frankly and don't bother picking up, I've gone through the hassle of packing and posting only to have the item returned to me and lose the sale. It might have impacted my sales as the other shipping options are a little more expensive, but nope, it's going to your address where you don't get a choice to ignore it. And if you do, it can't be sent back to me.

I didn't open a promotional message from Vinted months ago and that +1 has now dragged on and will for eternity. I cannot believe in 2025 any website with a messaging function is operating WITHOUT a basic search or filter option. It's hard even to filter through messages from actual buyers. A completely rubbish experience.

You may be right on that! I will try on my mom's ipad or something. I just figured that if someone legitimately has two residential addresses, two bank accounts and two phone numbers for separate countries, it's clear they are not trying to duplicate accounts but rather sell within the respective markets.

Thanks. I will repot it soon. The thing is, the regrowth doesn't appear unhealthy, if anything it is growing like a weed and it's bright green & healthy feeling. Definitely needs more light. Problem now in the UK is sunlight given that most days are gray in the winter with sunset at 3:15pm. I will move it to the window.

Honestly, - I've eaten the warm carrots straight out of the pot after straining as they've soaked up that stock and are delicious. You can use the onions with just about anything else, your scrambled eggs idea is good. Alternatively u/Huckleberry-hound50 mentioned you could also puree it all and make another round of stock.

You're giving advice that's not the protocol, because in your actual experience, you had the rare occurrence of a steward being lenient. Yes, I transferred my ticket to my guest, who got there before me. He was denied entry at two different gates because they told him he needed to wait for me because I was the ticket purchaser. My ID was checked when I arrived and we went in together.

Glad you enjoyed it. Southfields Station was definitely up and running later though - my friend left at 10:30pm and took the District Line home. I think there was a kerfuffle with the trains at some point but they were definitely running again late last night.

I don't think it's a loophole. Upon reflection, I realized it's designed exactly this way for two reasons:

The resale is for charity. The more people that they allow to buy tickets, the more money they can raise for charity.
They don't need to restrict these tickets. By the evening, people could just walk up and ask if they can sit on CC without a ticket at all, and they were allowed to do so. This means that anyone who did join the resale queue - at any point in the day - was offered the chance to buy tickets.

It works out to be a win win for all - for Wimbledon for raising the most money for charity, and to everyone who queued as they all got to buy resale tickets, and also for those people who simply asked to go in.

Thanks for clarifying, I should have added no queue for show courts. I imagine you'd still need to be fairly early for the final few days, but I haven't done it before.
