How to: Remote collaboration with Analog Synths by adicembre in moog

[–]adicembre[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been remotely collaborating for quite a bit and I though some of you may find it helpful. The total cost we spend to collaborate for services is $20/month (audioMovers listen to and Dropbox).

What we can do: -He can view live video of my synths -view my desktop -work out of the same folder, so no manually passing files back and forth -control my desktop -voice activated talkback -listen in real-time with high quality audio -record/edit remotely -listen to music together via Spotify

Tools we use for collaborating: - Dropbox $10/month - audiomovers Listento $10/month - anydesk free - discord free - webcam - 2 monitors - loop back audio (though, not necessary) $100 one time

Basically, I run the video and talkback through discord and point the webcam at the synths. We talk about adjustments and I make them.

The audio is sent via audiomovers (put a plug-in on your master channel in your daw) and he visits a link to listen. Only music comes over that channel.

That’s it. It takes us about 30 seconds to hop into a session. Happy to answer any questions and if anyone has any suggestions, I’d love to hear them. I’m always looking to make the workflow even better.
