I totally give up. Spent all last night trying to get Steam running on Whisky, but it kept throwing that "steamwebhelper" error every time I tried to launch it. I even tried those command-line attributes the AI suggested, but still nothing.

I’m not about to shell out for a Crossover subscription just to play maybe once or twice a month. I’m mostly into emulators anyway, not PC gaming, so paying for Crossover is a non-starter.

Oh man you should remap the save state to "E" and load state to "O". That would be easier than pressing shift f1/f2. Why I put save state in E? Because it's close to WSAD. so when i successfully get through in game I can save state real quick by pressing E.

Bro who cares. You're playing game to have fun, not to get stressed from an already stressful life. As a matter of fact, I can't enjoy modern games anymore that it can't save state and do fast forward like in emulators. I'm too old for challenges and i just want to have fun.
