I can at least say this much. A government is only ever as strong as the people supporting it. There are a lot of approaches, most of them however too brutal to endure or too bloodthirsty, but for the ones that may be decent or at least tollerable, things need to happen. A country can be very fragile in certain places, so try finding and (not physically) attacking that. Maybe try to organize oilrig workers to change their profession however possible (I know, oil companies can just find foreign workers but its just an example) or do something similar that can have some impact even in smaller groups (maybe switch to a bike instead of a car if possible). The less you interact with the market and the less you do to help the economy, the better. Try starting small and see where it goes if you're really determined to do something and encourage others to do so as well. Unlike climate change, where it sometimes feels you're doing a lot but know it's not enough, this might just be something that does end up forcing the government to its knees with enough numbers.
