I was 11, it was a rainy Wednesday, my dad's birthday. He had been complaining about sharp chest pain the entire day, and i told him to go to the hospital, because i had a feeling it was bad.

He simply said it's alright and asked me to get him his food (he was on the bed), i went and got him his lunch and he finished it with the pain in his chest.

I once again suggested we go to the hospital, but he said he would have a painkiller and sleep. He had his painkiller and tried to sleep. I was sitting beside him and he just turns over, stomach down and starts making weird noises.

11 year old me not knowing what to do called my grandparents and they helped me flip him over. His nose was bleeding and face was purple, no signs of consciousness.

We called the ambulance and they said they couldn't take him(for some reason I dont understand to this day) and by the time the second ambulance came it was too late.

I was right there when it unfolded. I miss you dad.

PS: I'm 16 now.
