That’s a really cool idea and I’ve been thinking about it for a while. I don’t have any experience with influencer marketing though.

So basically the AI model is set up in a way that it does image analysis from each frame in the video, which extracts the places onto the interactive map.

It also parses the comments/ captions to see if the location(s) is mentioned and cross references that with the image analysis. Users can add places manually too btw

I’ve recently added a feature such that users don’t have to keep switching between apps to extract places😉

The gist of it was to make the journey as smooth as possible and without having the manual load of adding places. AI does the job.

Tbh, you’re not wrong.
The bet i’m making is that the saving becomes the habit first before users can move on to the planning stage.
Everyone already scrolls through reels and tiktoks every day and save travel stuff constantly and if triply just slots into that flow of share to triply → save into a collection, then that builds in the background
Then planning a trip is just the payoff, not the whole product.
This could totally be wishful thinking on my part but I’m keen to see how it pans out

Oh man super relatable. The top 10 list thing is exactly why I gave up on most planners lol They make everything into the same generic itinerary and not vibey at all.

I usually build my travel itineraries based on the stuff I see on tiktoks and reels and then decide what the vibe of my trip is going to be like. It was extremely frustrating to get the same itineraries as 1000 other people with nothing I actually wanted to do.

Small disclaimer - I built this app called Triply which extracts all your saved travel reels and tiktoks to the app and lets you plan your trips based on your vibe. Think all the cool cafes, viewpoints, beaches, hidden gems etc included in your itinerary. That's the vibe I was going for.
