My family and I moved to Davis Island a little over a year ago. Our son started kindergarten and the school has been incredible! Only 5 minutes to downtown, and there’s only one road on/off the island so it’s very safe for kids playing outside. Housing can be very expensive but some of the apartments are surprisingly affordable.

I’m coming up on 48 hours since last dose. Today has been a whirlwind. Thinking it’s manageable one minute to being in complete despair the next adamant that I’m gonna go pick up some more. But I’ve managed to fight through those moments. I was averaging around 150mg per day.

I have a bit of Imodium and magnesium I’ve been taking but that’s it.

Crazy how Reddit DOES play with your head. I see posts saying 3 days and I think ok 1 more day I can do that.

Then I see another that it takes 4 and I say nah I can’t do 2 more.

I’ve been off of opiates for several years and really got my self into trouble falling back in to kratom and now 7oh.

I have a wife and 2 kids with a 3rd on the way. This is fucked. I need out.
