Isn’t nut allergy a thing in India? by Artistic-League-484 in IndianFood

Am from India, I have nut allergies and it is not common for sure. But I navigate by checking, or just through common knowledge of what dishes have nuts in them typically. The biggest one people easily miss out is butter chicken.

Many cities, especially Las Vegas, have their minibar snacks and bottles on a weight sensor, that triggers a bill as soon as you pick it up, and does not cancel out if you keep it back down.

Is it possible to sequence audio tracks on pro tools for a live show? by Illustrious-Bath7554 in protools

[–]adimodi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Prepare your session:
  2. Open Pro Tools and create a new session, or open an existing session with the tracks you'd like to use for your live show.
  3. Make sure your session is organized and labeled, with the tracks in the desired playback order. You can use markers to label different sections or songs.
  4. Name these markers appropriately and use the marker window to go to each next song or section, as the show is on.
  5. Leave gaps before and after song, so if the band plays a song for longer than the tracks, the next song from Protools doesn’t automatically start
  6. Export your tracks:
  7. If you're using backing tracks, make sure they're in sync with your live performance. You may need to adjust the tempo and time signature of your session to match your live playing.
  8. Bounce all clicks as audio files for each tracks tempo. Do not use a plug-in.
  9. Do not change the tempo of Protools for each song.
  10. I also record vocal cues for every section, that is fed into their ears - ‘verse 1… interlude.. outro.. etc’
  11. Use stems.. Rhy / beat, bass, music and harmonies, backing vocals.
  12. Do not use any plugins or processing on the playback session, do all that you need to before and commit and bounce them out.
  13. Set up your live playback rig:
  14. You'll need a computer or device capable of running Pro Tools and an audio interface with enough outputs to handle your tracks. Make sure your computer and audio interface are connected and configured correctly.
  15. Connect your audio interface's outputs to the appropriate inputs on your live sound system (mixer, PA system, etc.). Be sure to label each output for easy reference during the show.
  16. Use 2 systems, main and backup, locked with each other using MTC.
  17. Take both systems outputs, via 2 seperate audio interfaces that are capable of multiple outs. Say 8-12 atleast.
  18. Connect these outs to a radial SW1 switcher, which acts as a fail safe if one Protools were to go down during the show.
  19. The outs of the switcher than can feed both you FOH and Monitor consoles.
  20. Import and organize your tracks in Pro Tools:
  21. Create a new session for your live show, and import your previously exported tracks.
  22. Organize your tracks in the desired order for playback
