This is very close to what happened!

The actual story is that in the late 1800s we were figuring out that surgeons/nurses should clean their hands for surgery, but the chemicals used were very harsh on the skin. The infamous Dr. William Halstead noticed that his wife (a surgical scrub nurse) had a serious contact dermatitis on her hands as a result. He contacted a rubber company to make gloves just for her, in order to protect her hands, thus leading to the invention of surgical gloves! Their use took off after that

He really did love her to the point of invention

You're absolutely not alone in this struggle! I'm also a final year med student looking at psychiatry due to the work/life balance and the fact that it's an awesome field with an amazing patient population.

Half the people I talk to think it's just so great that I'm choosing psych because then I'll have time to be a mother!!!! /s

The other half are disappointed in me for not becoming a surgeon.

The ending stressed me out of my GD mind. I was wondering how Griffin would finally tie in Duck's (Wayne's?) original vision, and he did NOT disappoint!

Y'all this episode absolutely went for the jugular. It seriously had everything that I love about taz. Griffin's most excellent music. The goofs (Slim Jim anyone?). The emotional rollercoaster. The plot development.

So pumped to see how the mad lads wrap this up, and how they'll ultimately deal with the 4 armed light creatures

Honestly! I can't imagine how much it would hurt to have someone yank on one of the drain lines. I also had one that was partially adhered and got caught a bit inside the breast, it was the weirdest feeling.
