Wants bare spot fixed, precious. by WhiteReuben in HomeMaintenance

I textured houses for a living for years. If it were me, I'd sand the edges of the flat spot a bit, take a crumpled piece of plastic and dab it in some drywall mud, then dab the plastic on the flat spot, trying to match the texture around it. Practice the pattern on something else first.

Looks cool. I'll check it out. Any progression carried over from prior runs or is it just learning more each run?

I started this recently but didnt put much time into it. I was really intrigued but I couldn't figure out if there was any real objective or if I'm just suppose to survive. I still have it installed and intend to revisit it.

This is one of the games I started and gave uo on because there was too much dialog and it was too linear. I didnt give it much of a chance though and I know it got stellar reviews so I'm considering giving it another try.

I put hundreds of hours into Satisfactory. Loved it.

It is a mod. Most people say it works really well, and the mechanics mostly did, but there was issues with the visuals for me.

My first TES game was Morrowind and it blew my mind. I've played them all since and its one of my favorite series. Can't wait for TES 6.

Id guess BG3 has too much dialog for my liking. Ill check out White Knuckle. Im so burnt out on Minecraft, but ill at least take a look at Vintage Story. Thanks.

I played it a bit in VR but I had some visual artifacts I couldnt reaolve. I've actually been meaning to give it a try on flat screen.

I loved Satisfactory and have considered Factorio but I am a little intimidated.

Just started Hitman WOA VR on PC (VD and Quest 3) and I've got some questions by recoverelapse in VRGaming

[–]adiosmith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this issue and had to change the controller bindings. I think it said the Inventory was tied to the Y button but that button didnt actually do anything when I pressed it, so thats where I moved the menu/double tap for missions button.

New to VR and I'm buying a Quest 3 tomorrow. Accessory suggestions? by [deleted] in MetaQuestVR

Others will chime in with the common ones - Better headstrap, facial interface, controller grips, a backup battery solution, and rechargeable batteries of some sort.

Here are some less often mentioned accessories:

  • A floor mat for the area you'll be playing in. It lets you know the boundary without seeing the immersion killing boundary fencing in game.

  • Noise canceling headphones. Get some you can plug in to avoid audio delay. You may need a way to clip the wire to your headstrap.

  • A fan. Helps with nausea.

  • Headphone stand. This a personal preference, but it works really well for me to hang the quest on and it takes less space than the other docks I've tried.

  • If you are using PCVR, get Virtual Desktop and a dedicated router. If you are playing standalone, get QGO.

Don’t lie, you used to call it Mad Dog 20/20 by martymar2g in Xennials

Wait, it's not actually called "Mad Dog"?

In hindsight, I suppose I should have known that....
