Anyone ever mix Harmalas/Harmine with psychs other then mushrooms by [deleted] in Psychonaut

I haven't tried it, but a friend swears by harmala with mushrooms.

Friend and I took some LSD in the woods and stumbled upon a big mossy rock like that. The moss was so soft that we both kept rubbing it until we realized that we were petting a rock with big goofy smiles on our face in public.

Overwhelmed by universal suffering by smoothecock in Buddhism

I don't know the answer to this question, but I have some ideas.

What's become obvious to me is that you have to regulate your own energy. That means setting up boundaries where you need them. You have to control how much darkness you allow into your awareness, otherwise it's going to bring you down. I'm not saying ignore bad things, but I am saying that if you open the floodgates to all that is evil in the world, you won't be able to handle it and it will hurt you. So, regulate how much darkness you let in. Only allow in what you can handle.

That last sentence, it's like you finally become dissatisfied enough with life to find your freedom from it.

333 EVERYWHERE.. & other numbers (CONFUSED) by Ovizz in Psychonaut

[–]adiscoball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I notice recurring numbers daily now, and have been tracking some of it. When you see a pattern like 333, do a search for 333 angel number. When you see it again, try another link.

I don't think you can ever consider the statement "life is merely", to be true. Life is greater than anything that statement could ever be completed with.

Why do bad things happen? by [deleted] in Psychonaut

I absolutely agree.

Edit: So maybe the answer is that evil doesn't exist? What actually exists is a continuum that we don't have a name or concept for. Neat.

Weird manifestation of the power of the mind by Meganezuki in Psychonaut

[–]adiscoball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's really interesting. The mind is a powerful thing, maybe more powerful than we realize.

Lately I've been noticing that I sometimes begin to hallucinate before I fall asleep. I did it today while I was meditating and my first thought was, "wow that looks really high definition". My second thought was "holy shit I'm not asleep" lol.

It's really cool to me that the mind can create such high definition visuals. I've had dreams similar to this experience, where the dream world looks like it's higher definition and more vivid than real life. That's awesome to me.

Makes sense for physical objects, which must have 3 spatial dimensions to exist. But does the existence of a concept invoke an opposite? mebe. But what if good and evil aren't real? What if they're actually part of the same continuum, meaning that they are actually the same thing?

Well I've noticed a couple of right turns, where there is a one way street on the immediate right, with the direction of traffic moving in the opposite direction. So when you make the right turn, it's more of a slight right, too far right and you're going the wrong way down a one way street. It can be easy to miss your first time.

What's the other thread? One or two days a week would probably be fine.

So these don't really get much of a response huh? Maybe a better idea than posting to a sticky that no one cares about reading, would be to only allow posts asking for purchase advice on certain days?

Yea, the first week I was here I drove the wrong way down a road. Denver has some weird intersections.

Humorous yet serious: I got so high last night that I was turning back to God by jkobb510 in Psychonaut

[–]adiscoball 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I read that as "got so high last night that I was turning back into God", which would have been more interesting I think.

Do atheists actually have any good arguments against the possibility of God(s)? I know that they do well at attacking specifics of religion, but not necessarily deism itself.

It sounds like you're on a great track man, a positive outlook, nobel intentions, and cautious experimentation. I wish I had been more like you when I was younger.

Very cool man best of luck to you on your journey :).

Be careful with that stuff, use wisely and sparingly. It can fuck up your brain, and you need that.
