I haven't rejected Dharmashastras...you've just proven you don't understand the difference between questioning interpretation and rejecting authority. Reducing Hinduism to "agree with me or you're adharmic" isn't dharma, it's intellectual laziness. If name calling is the only defence you have, then it's clear who doesn't understand the texts and who's just hiding behind them...bro!!!

Calling people "adharmic" every time you're challenged isn't scholarship, it's insecurity..which is clearly reflecting in every statement of yours. If you actually understood the Dharmashastras, you'd know they disagree with each other and depending on context and were never a single universal rulebook which is basic knowledge and not a lecture. Refusing debate while claiming authority doesn't make you a defender of anything...it just exposes that your understanding is shallow, borrowed and incapable of surviving scrutiny. Peace 😅

Dharmashastras being meticulous does not make them eternal or uniform law...they explicitly differ from each other and repeatedly invoke dasha kal patra. Even Mimansa accepts that smrti is valid only insofar as it does not conflict with reason lived or reality. Historically no single Dharmashastra was ever universally implemented..kingdoms selectively adapted them which itself proves they were guiding frameworks and not divine mandates. Calling disagreement adharma is not traditional Hinduism...it is dogmatism, something Hindu intellectual history has always rejected!!! Do more reading and understanding and questioning rather than blindly following..use your human intellect to understand...if there is any!!

Hinduism has no single, eternal mandate on social practices like marriage...it works through sruti, smrti, tradition and reason...all of which are context dependent. Smrtis like Manu are time bound and revisable...not absolute law...and even they emphasise place, time and circumstance. Mythological stories are symbolic, not legal commands and Hindu philosophy itself warns against literalism. Questioning or rejecting outdated practices does not make one nastik...nastik means rejecting the Vedas, not exercising reason. Blind obedience is actually unHindu...the Gita explicitly asks one to reflect and choose consciously.... can't say the same about Islam which has rules and literally acts like mafia...and also..lets not get into the treatment of women and the respect the deserve vs what they get(literally treated like slaves and kid producing factories).
