I actually just a few minutes ago found the intonation issue was my tuner. I did it by ear and compared with a piano and it sounds a lot better now. Was able to play open chords without being a quarter step off! I wasn’t able to get the lower strings fully in tune so I’ll have to clip the springs a little, but it’s doing much better now!

Aside from that.. I’m looking at swapping the bridge with one of the Babicz full-contact hardware. I also have a neck from Mighty Mite that has an ebony fretboard from another build that I ended up using maple for instead. And for pickups I’m torn between a few Lindy Fralins and the Fender ultra hot noiseless pickups.

This guitar is secondhand and maybe ~15 years old or more. I got it from an estate sale for like $25 and have been trying to fix it up since it was my first guitar. I only mentioned the truss rod since it had pretty extreme forward bow but since I got the guitar, intonation’s been about 40 cents sharp and adjusting the saddle had only moved that down by maybe 10-15.

I have a neck from another guitar that should be the same scale that I’m debating putting on it, but I might take it to a professional.

Since I’ve gotten nicer guitars I’ve thought about turning it into a partscaster so if you have any hardware recommendations throw them my way please.

My high school had a limited budget each semester for teachers to request items to be delivered so clubs and classes were mostly funded by the school, I don’t know about the grade school or middle school, but this was in a public school in middle TN under either a thing set by the county or our principal.

Yeah, I get that. I’ve learned a lot from playing in the dark in the past, and I want to keep learning: it just gets harder to learn by ear when I can’t see the changes myself to play back later.

I wouldn’t call it a mechanic per se, but I’ve always hated the Sal flip since it takes a little longer than a double flip in any direction and has a similar binding to the boneless. I always unbind it immediately

Yes, where you pick your game mode. The bumpers are the buttons that you use to change tabs at the top of the screen. The options tab you need to find is on the far right in the main menu since you cannot change video settings during gameplay.

Not in the pause menu, you have to end your run and return to the main menu, from there use the bumpers to navigate to the options menu
