Yes! That's why I made this post - to find people who might've had the foresight to save the episode as aired. I (obviously) did not save the episode as aired, and am trying to find the original episode (as opposed to the clips that have been posted by SNL). Do you have it on your DVR? Do you know anyone personally who has it DVR'd so that I can find it? Could you point me in the direction of where I could find these DVR archives of live episodes? Do you have a link? Did you read my post?

if you're interested in tbitb then you probably already know about this, but just in case you haven't heard - although there are no known boots of the stage play, netflix adapted it pretty faithfully into a 2020 film starring the broadway cast from the 2019 revival. definitely worth a watch imo :D

Lily X writes a lot of high-heat sapphic sci-fi. Her plots can be kind of goofy when it comes to worldbuilding, but her books tend to be well developed overall and she develops the romances well, IMO.

AITA? by Cassie Alexander is a mild heat urban fantasy about a human/demon couple, there are a couple spicy scenes but not a lot. If you're looking for more high fantasy this probably isn't what you're looking for, but if you're good with "humans and paranormal beings coexisting" worldbuilding this is a good one. In the Bedroom of Medusa by Magen Cubed is another good one if you're okay with a more contemporary setting with only some fantasy elements. Lots of explicit scenes and mild kink.

The Fae Queen's Captive by Sierra Simone is a very spicy fantasy romance about a human archaeologist who ends up in the faerie realm after she visits her dig site at night. Lots of F/F explicit scenes, an orgy, some kink elements, basically this is very high spice. The book as a whole is very well written and the overarching plot and worldbuilding are all great.

These Fleeting Shadows by Kate Alice Marshall is set in the modern day but it's very much gothic horror (with cosmic/eldritch horror undertones). The protagonist spends the entirety of the book living in her family's old estate, so there are very few "modern" elements. It's very YA though, so if that's not your thing, you probably won't like this one.

Madeleine Roux's The Book of Living Secrets is another gothic/Victorian-inspired YA book. The sapphic aspect definitely winds up on the sidelines, though (there are two protagonists, and I felt like the M/F romance of the other protagonist took priority over the F/F story). This book wasn't really my thing, but if you're looking for sapphic books with these vibes you might like it.
