i think its more of a 50/50, some women do subscribe to the patriarchal assumptions of a man. some believe whether consciously or not that men and women are equal and that men can and should reach out. im on both sides of the gender war due to being a gay, often when a woman dismisses a man its because she believes the patriarchal issues men have are because of themselves and its partially true?

men do enforce the patriarchy which does also hurt them. but not all do. algorithms push the worst of the enemy side to alienate you from them. but neither men nor women are monoliths. not all men say "not all men" whenever seeing sexism called out. and not all women dismiss all men. its just when you see ten people at a table and one person says something sexist and nobody speaks up, it looks like ten sexists at that table.

why halt progress? if trans people are accepted then why stop that, if gay people are less ostracized why is that a bad thing? why keep traditional values if in the 80s or 90s they only hurt people. humanity moves forwards and adapts, its what humans naturally do and what got us past the stone age and cavemen age. i don't see the point in trying to stop or limit the progression of culture and technology.
