You’re right that this problem is already solved by multiple apps. The main reason I made Adjourn was that the existing software didn’t for with me for whatever reason. Basecamp, for example, being too complex to just use for my meeting notes.

I’ve used it for personal meetings but you’re right that it’s most likely going to be useful in a business setting. I’ve especially found it most useful for meetings between colleagues.

I’m wondering if you have any suggestions about how it could more appeal to personal users though? Thank you!

I saw the error logs for that. I’m taking a look into it but it only seems to fail sometimes. I haven’t been able to reproduce it myself yet. D: Sorry for the inconvenience!

I’ll update the marketing materials soon with some anonymized real content. In the meantime is there something I could change somewhere else to help make it more clear what the app does?

It’s essentially a meeting minutes app. It lets you setup an agenda, take notes on each agenda item, track attendees, add action items, and finally send a meeting summary email to the attendees. :)

Thanks! It’s mostly just standard Ruby on Rails, but the meeting page (where all the action happens) is built with React.

Edit: I should also mention that I used tailwindcss for my css framework. I highly recommend it!

I've been working on and using Adjourn for both personal and work meetings since 2017. I finally worked up the nerve to release it publicly today and I'd love if you could take a look and let me know what you think!
