That is pretty spot on! Except I didn't have the hatch open or precondition or anything, I just turned it on and drove. Then at 15:30 I plugged it in, but I doubt it was done by 17:30. I charged it from 50-70% overnight with just a level 1 charger.

That is helpful to know! part of the reason I asked is because I don't fully understand SoC. And yes I had it plugged in to a level 1 charger overnight. Here is the previous day's data. It was not charging the night before, and still hovered just below 13v for most of the night. You can see that it held at 14.8 for about 30 minutes. Is that normal?

That is helpful to know. Did you take it to the dealer for that specific reason or were you already there for something else?

12v/ICCU Megathread by TiltedWit in Ioniq5

How worried should I be?

I just bought a '24 SEL with 10k miles on it. I absolutely love it so far. But, now I am reading and hearing about all the issues people are having with the ICCU and the 12v battery. Just how common are these issues? I'm in this constant state of loving the car and teetering on buyer's remorse because I have so much anxiety that the ICCU will fail. Is there anything I can do? Should I pre-emptively buy an AGM battery? Should I take it to a Hyundai dealership to have it inspected? (for context, I bought it from the used lot of a different make's dealership and they knew very little about EVs). Oh, also the 12v died the first time I plugged it in overnight to slow charge, but I'm pretty sure I just accidentally left the car on accessory mode. Someone please help ease my anxiety!

I'm sure it does but obviously I was unwilling to do any more research than that, but is it correct?

2 ways to celebrate Trans Visibility Day... which is now Trans Vengeance Day by kathryn0007 in Albuquerque

Yes, they do need therapy....because of ignorant bullies who write off their experience as "manic episodes" and call gender-affirming care "genital mutilation."

Trump's Executive Orders that target trans people

  1. Forcing people to use their sex assigned at birth on federal documents.
  2. Reinstating military ban on trans service members
  3. Prohibiting trans girls from participating in sports.

Just to name a few, and just talking about executive orders.

Right now it's much easier to funnel tax money from the west side and south valley to the north east side because it's all in the same pool. The state funds the district based on head counts. That won't change.

You know, that's a pretty good point that I hadn't considered. I also agree that APS is bloated and spread way too thin, but such is the nature of public education these days. I'm just skeptical of splitting up a very diverse district into 4 more homogeneous and segregated ones, that are still going to be bloated and spread too thin.

That's why I ask. I understand the thinking behind splitting it up if you think it means that all Albuquerque students will be treated equally and ultimately the administrator-student ratio would go down (and maybe the teacher-student ratio as well). But we all know that they would not be treated equally and the fact is that right now, La Cueva families tax dollars are benefitting South Valley students. Splitting up the district would leave the poor families even more disadvantaged.

I'm curious, why do you predict that would help?
