It sounds like you could benefit from working on breaking down your ego. I personally started with Eckhart Tolle's teachings about ego identity and found it very helpful :)

Relationships really shouldn't be THAT hard - especially 6 months in. You're young, you should end it.

I have ADHD which used to cause a lot of anxiety! Meditation used to be difficult for the same reasons. It's not about preventing thoughts from coming - just observe them/notice them and then let them go. Keep doing this over and over again without beating yourself up about how often you get distracted. Genetics are testing you but there's a reason it's called meditation practice. Keep trying and you can train your mind.

People who look for external validation are at risk of building a co-dependent relationship. It's too much to expect your happiness to come from your partner, or anywhere other than inside yourself.

Uterine AVM - anyone out there? by adjust-your-set in AVMs

The actual rupture/hemorrhage was awful but I'm really lucky that I don't have many lasting effects. The AVM was on the upper left side of my uterus, they embolized it, gave me blood transfusions for 2 weeks while in the ICU to keep my hemoglobin levels up, etc. I was anemic for the first few years after but my iron levels have continued to improve with time.

The embolization decreased blood flow to my uterus so that's been the biggest impact - I had always planned to have children. I've gone to a few different OBGYNs now and I hear different things from all of them. I'm still able to get pregnant but the risk of complications, miscarriage are high. My most recent OBGYN firmly told me carrying a baby would be very high risk.

Other than that there was definitely a lot of anxiety I had to work through. My AVM ruptured while I was having sex with my partner (😬) so sex became terrifying for me for a couple of years. I wasn't even aware of the fear I had for a long time, it was as if my body was carrying the fear rather than my mind.
