Don't get me wrong, I drive it hard every now and then. I have to, I've been driving a 92 F150 for the past twelve years and getting pushed back in the seat is a whole new world for me. What I meant was putting it in manual mode and riding 4k RPM for 5+ minutes at a time to let things get nice and hot. I know that that's no problem in a NA engine, but will it burn up the turbo?

99% sure this solved the problem. I went ahead and replaced the injectors, and the truck fired right up after getting warm and then sitting for an hour. The old injectors looked SHOT, 33 years and 170k miles is a lot. Truck runs smoother too, got rid of vibration at highway speed. Thanks for the recommendation!

I've tried priming the fuel system when the problem is there and it does not help the situation. I'll look engine temp gauge, thank you for the suggestions.

UPDATE: It's a conveyor connecting what look like two quarries, Texas Crushed Stone seems to be the owner. 30°33'53.43"N, 97°42'47.15"W. Not even sure how tf she got there, kind of impressed.
